To Love
Part 3 of the "To" series
Someone (I have no idea whom) wrote on my bathroom mirror something like "You don't find love... love finds you... But what if you need love desperately." Well, we all need love my anonymous friend, even me. Most importantly, love is not something you find and it is not something that finds you, for me at least, it is something that grows. One time I did fall head over heels for someone and just ended up on my back alone. It took me a long time to get back on my feet but luckily I had the help of three wonderful people to put me back together. So now love is time tested and emotionally approved therefore it is something that has to grow. Love is also reciprocal so when blatant love is given the only thing that can be given back is more love because it is far too important to go un-noticed. I must admit I'm looking forward to finding someone to share my love with and every time I meet someone the question crosses my mind, "Will I fall for this person?" It always ends up being an open-ended question. Think of it like a door...at first it is half open then something might happen and then the door will close slightly. Something else might happen and the door will return to being half-open and then something else might happen and the door will fling completely open. The only problem is you have to work to keep that door open, you cannot just prop something against it (at least with my door). Some people have heavy doors and some people have light doors. I just so happen to have a heavy door and clearly the next person must be stronger than me to keep it open. Keep in mind that the door must never close unless abuse is involved because it's not love if they bend the hinges or ax your door down.
